Patent Turkey Poult Clincher Wing Tag

Used by hundreds of breeders. Attached to the wing of day old poults, nothing so readily answers the need for positive, permanent identification... at such reasonable cost. Completely safe, these ultra-lightweight Ketchum tags are manufactured from aluminium alloy. They are non-reusable and cannot be removed without destroying the tag. Code letters and numbers, clearly stamped on one face, are normally issued by the manufacturer but for quantities above 1,000 special codes and numbering can be provided.

Simple and quick to apply...in one operation.

The best method is to hold the poult upside down in the hand. In the elbow of the wing there is a small triangular piece of skin, through which the tag is punched by means of special attaching pliers. Leave space for wing growth and do not seal too severely. Inspect in 2-3 days and straighten the tag if it shows a tendency to shift around the wrist.
