Tamperproof Clincher Wing Tag

For day old chicks pheasants and partridges.

Positive, permanent identification, from the incubator...for life! The Ketchum Patent Wing Tag is by far the simplest method and the most economical. Made from ultra-lightweight aluminium alloy they cannot be removed without destroying the tag. Code letters and numbers normally issued by the Manufacturer are clearly stamped on one face, but for quantities over 1,000 special codes and numbering can be provided.

By means of the special clinching pliers, the Ketchum Tag is attached to the chick in the elbow of the wing, through the small triangular piece of skin to be found close to the body. Place the chick upside down in the hand, and gently fan-out the wing between thumb and forefinger. Do not seal too severely, leave space for wing growth. Inspect in 2-3 days and straighten the tag if it tends to shift around the wrist.
