The
proven identification for transit
grading of pigs. A breeder is allotted
a combination of letters and figures
as his identification. One slap
on the shoulder of the live pig
is all that is required to give
a legible, permanently tattooed
mark on the carcass. The machine
has two rotary wheels each fitted
with five figures. Usually 1-5 on
each. Alternative 1-5 on one rotor
and 6-0 on other can be supplied.
Interchangeable stationary digits
(letters or figures) to give various
combinations, are fitted into the
slot, one on each side of machine.
This tattoo is made of aluminium,
is light, easily handled and strongly
constructed. It is used in conjunction
with rubber inking pad illustrated.
Not suitable for permanent recording
of live pigs
